# The Constitutional Court will deliver its long-awaited judgment in the Phala Phala case involving president Cyril Ramaphosa on Friday, nearly 18 months after hearing arguments. The EFF and the African Transformation Movement want the apex court to compel Parliament to adopt the section 89 Independent Panel’s report, which could pave the way for Ramaphosa’s impeachment. In December 2022, the panel found there was a prima facie case that Ramaphosa may have violated his oath of office in connection with the theft of money from his Limpopo game farm in 2020.
