# The Cango Caves in the Western Cape will officially reopen to visitors today after it was confirmed that the road closure affecting access to the popular tourist attraction has been lifted. Although a stop-and-go traffic system remains in place, the route is now open. Management says it’s looking forward to welcoming visitors back to one of South Africa’s oldest and most popular heritage sites.
