BUDGET: EFF accuses minister Godongwana of misusing his fiscal policy powers [SOUND]

# The EFF has accused minister of Finance Enoch Godongwana of misusing his fiscal policy powers by arbitrarily increasing or decreasing the fuel levy without parliamentary approval. While tabling the Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement in Parliament yesterday, the minister announced a reduction in the general fuel levy. The levy will be reduced by three-rand per litre for diesel and one-rand-50-cents per litre for petrol next month.
