# Hundreds of foreign nationals have been displaced following a wave of anti-immigrant protests across parts of the Western Cape, including Kleinmond, Gansbaai and Mossel Bay. According to News24, migrants, mainly from Malawi and Mozambique, fled their homes and sought shelter in community halls, while others are hiding in nearby areas. In Mossel Bay, several deaths and the burning of homes were reported over the weekend. Police have confirmed arrests linked to public order offences.
