A groundbreaking book on Covid-19’s impact on young scientists released

# A book titled, Socio-Ecological-Economic Reflections on the Impacts of COVID-19 in Africa, aimed at reflecting on the challenges young scientists faced during the Covid-19 pandemic, has been released. The book gathers reflections from emerging scientists on the continent, offering a broad look at how the pandemic has influenced various aspects of life. University of Fort Hare professor, Willie Chinyamurindi, says the chapters provide insights into various socioeconomic issues triggered by the pandemic, including vaccine nationalism in South Africa and the role of social media in spreading misinformation.
