# More than 200 people participated in the South African National Parks’ annual Cancer Awareness Walk in the Wilderness Section of the Garden Route National Park on Tuesday. The walk honoured survivors, supported those currently affected by cancer, and raised awareness about the importance of prevention, early detection, and treatment. SANParks’ spokesperson, JP Louw, says the 6-kilometre path symbolised resilience and collective strength:
