# Eskom says it is planning to return a total of three-thousand-603-megawatts of generation capacity to service ahead of this evening peak, and throughout the week. This is in a bid to further strengthen the country’s electricity grid stability. Eskom spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena, says year-to-date, planned maintenance has averaged five-thousand- 240-megawatts, accounting for 11.17-percent of total generation capacity:
