Minister Dion George hails department’s role in economic resilience and job creation

# Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment minister, Dion George, says South Africa’s green economy is driving econimic growth. Agriculture, forestry and fishing grew 2.5-percent, mining and quarrying 3.7-percent, and electricity, gas and water 0.2-percent, contributing to a 0.8-percent GDP increase in the second quarter. George added that the department will continue promoting eco-friendly projects, biodiversity, and climate resilience, creating jobs and supporting communities across the country.
