# Cabinet has agreed to implement a Section 139 intervention in Ditsobotla Local Municipality in North West, taking control of the municipality’s administration. The decision follows legal pressure from business organisation Sakeliga, which threatened personal costs orders against ministers if action was not taken. Sakeliga CEO Piet le Roux says the intervention aims to address governance failures and restore service delivery:
