Ramaphosa lands in Japan to forge stronger Africa-Japan ties

# President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in Japan to lead South Africa’s delegation at the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development Summit. The summit, which begins tomorrow in Yokohama, will focus on innovation, trade, peace, and stability. South Africa will push for Japan’s support on infrastructure, health, and security under agenda 2063. Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya says Japan is already a major partner, with over 90-billion-rand invested in South Africa and more than 150-thousand local jobs sustained.
