# The national Spaza Shop Support Fund campaign arrives in Sedibeng, Gauteng, today with an interactive session at Vereeniging City Hall. Spaza shop owners will receive guidance on applying for support from the 500-million-rand fund, launched in April. The campaign is spearheaded by the Trade, Industry and Competition Department, and the Small Business Development Department. The initiative includes stock access, infrastructure upgrades, training, and partnerships to boost township business competitiveness. It follows successful events in KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, and the Northern Cape.
