The Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport has opened nominations for the 2025 Cultural Awards. Members of the public are urged to nominate individuals or groups who made a significant impact between 1 June 2023 and 31 May 2025. Categories include Arts, Libraries, Museums, and more. MEC Ricardo Mackenzie says the awards honour those uplifting arts, literacy, and heritage while boosting the local economy:
