Steenhuisen urges greater inclusion of black farmers [SOUND]

# Agriculture minister John Steenhuisen has highlighted that Black farmers contribute only about ten-percent to South Africa’s commercial agricultural output, underscoring the need for greater inclusion. Speaking on the sidelines of the Black Business Council summit, Steenhuisen emphasised that while many black farmers are active, they often operate on a smaller scale and require more support to expand. He called for targeted support aimed at promoting a more inclusive agricultural sector:
