# Supporters of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign will gather at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town today for a Nakba Day rally. Marking 77-years since the 1948 displacement of over 700-thousand Palestinians, the event forms part of a global solidarity movement. Campaign coordinator Usuf Chikte says the rally will demand a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and a ban on arms sales to Israel. He urged South Africans to support efforts to end the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
