Development Bank of Southern Africa drives urban sustainability with biogas project in Johannesburg

# The Development Bank of Southern Africa in partnership with the Global Environment Facility and the UN Environment Programme, is spearheading a sustainable infrastructure initiative in Johannesburg. The project seeks to advance energy access and climate resilience, and tackles urban challenges through five pillars. This including waste-to-biogas innovation at Robinson Deep landfill. The initiative also aims to enhance waste management, social housing, and food security.
