Cyclists embark on a journey from Soweto to Kimberley to raise funds for school libraries

# A group of cyclists from Soweto are embarking on a 600-kilometre journey to Kimberley to raise 100-thousand-rand for the refurbishment of libraries at the Bethany Combined School in Klipspruit and Lodirile Primary School in Dobsonville. The event, dubbed TourDeLibraries is led by local entrepreneur Mpumelelo Mtintso. It will start on Monday, with the aim to finish next Friday on Human Rights Day. The cyclists hope their adventure will also help raise awareness about road safety and the need for improved cycling infrastructure.
