# Suspended Police minister Senzo Mchunu has filed papers in the Johannesburg High Court, arguing that the search warrant used to raid his property in KwaZulu-Natal was obtained “through misleading information”. Members of the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit executed a search and seizure operation at the property in September, where electronic devices were seized. In his court application, Mchunu says the warrant is invalid as the affidavit in support of it fails to provide factual evidence of a reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed.
