# Today is World Food Day, a day to raise global awareness about hunger, malnutrition, and poverty, and to encourage international solidarity and action to achieve food security. This year’s theme is “Innovate Today. Nourish Tomorrow.” Around 645 million people faced hunger in 2025, and nearly 2.7 billion people cannot afford a healthy diet.
