Adidas sues Australian fashion label over four-stripe designs

# German sportswear giant Adidas is suing Australian fashion retailer White Fox Boutique, alleging its clothing featuring four parallel stripes infringes the company’s famous three-stripe trademark. Adidas claims White Fox ignored repeated requests to stop selling the garments and used advertising that could mislead shoppers into believing the brands were connected. White Fox denies breaching trademark law, arguing the stripes are decorative and pointing to similar designs sold by other retailers. Adidas is seeking a ban on the disputed products and financial compensation. The case is scheduled for a full hearing early next year.
