# British rock legend Sir Rod Stewart, is preparing to retire from touring after more than six decades of live performances. The 81-year-old’s farewell tour, The Final Encore, will begin in Dublin in April next year and include concerts across Britain and Europe. Stewart says it will be his last rock ’n’ roll tour, but he is not retiring from music altogether. He plans to continue recording and may still make occasional live appearances. The announcement follows health problems that forced him to cancel shows this year, including a heart procedure.
