Stranded shark becomes South Korean tourist attraction

# A shark of 3.5-metres trapped in a canal in the South Korean port city of Busan has attracted about 600-thousand visitors in two weeks. Nicknamed Bukangi, the bronze whaler was first spotted in the North Port waterway on September 18. Authorities tried to guide it back to the sea yesterday by using five vessels to spray jets of water behind it, but the shark repeatedly swam away. Another rescue attempt is planned later this week using a specially made net. Busan has even named the shark an honorary public relations ambassador.
