# The Border Management Authority and the South African Revenue Service say more than one-thousand-800 trucks were processed in a single day at the Lebombo Port of Entry in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga, amid ongoing congestion. BMA spokesperson Mmemme Mogotsi says authorities are working with Mozambican counterparts and other stakeholders to improve the movement of traffic while maintaining border and customs controls. She says the congestion is being blamed on high traffic volumes, infrastructure capacity and operational conditions on both sides of the border:
