# The Pretoria Magistrate’s Court has granted the wife of businessman Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala, Tsakane, and her co-accused, Claudette Masethe and Given Makofane, 20-thousand-rand bail each in a lease fraud and corruption case. Cat Matlala remains in custody at Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Centre in the same case. The accused face allegations of using fraudulent documents and falsified bank statements to secure a Waterkloof Ridge property in Pretoria. The case has been postponed to 29 October for further investigations and the defence to receive the docket.
