# South African investigative journalist Micah Reddy, who was detained by government authorities in Djibouti, was released unharmed and without charge yesterday. He and his local fixer Kooki Mahmoud, who was also released, disappeared from their hotel in the East African country on Saturday afternoon. Reddy is the Africa Coordinator at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. Niall Reddy told the SABC that his brother was held by the National Security Services over media accreditation:
