MISA warns employers over failure to protect workers injured on duty [SOUND]

# The Motor Industry Staff Association is calling on employers in the motor industry to comply with labour laws and register their workers with the compensation fund. This follows inspections at around 50 Gauteng fuel stations that found employers failing to register workers. The union warns that employees injured on duty could be left without medical and financial support. MISA’s Phakamile Hlubi-Majola says employers have a legal responsibility to protect workers:
