# The Continental Energy and Infrastructure Investment Forum is underway in Johannesburg, bringing together stakeholders to discuss Africa’s energy, infrastructure and economic development needs. Speakers say smart partnerships are needed to accelerate projects towards bankable feasibility and attract investment. The forum is also focusing on critical minerals and regional integration. The Development Bank of Southern Africa says infrastructure projects must intentionally include Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises across the value chain, while promoting local manufacturing, industrialisation and job creation.
