# The government warns South Africans to brace for cold, wet and windy weather as a cold front is set to move into the Western and Northern Cape from Sunday. Deputy government spokesperson William Baloyi says the system will bring very cold conditions, rough seas and snowfall over mountainous areas, before spreading eastwards to the Eastern Cape and further inland. Snow will also be possible over higher ground in the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga:
