# The government has launched Peo Pele Youth Fund to assist young entrepreneurs overcome barriers to funding and business support. Speaking at the launch in QwaQwa, Free State, Small Business Development minister Stella Tembisa Ndabeni said the 300-million-rand fund will support youth-owned businesses at different stages of growth through the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency. She anticipates high demand and called on more partners to expand funding. The programme’s impact will be reviewed after six months.
