# Former president Jacob Zuma says the state can only seek repayment of his legal fees when he is found guilty, and shown to have acted in his own interests in respect of the corruption he is accused of. The MK Party leader has launched an appeal to the Constitutional Court to overturn the High Court in Pretoria ruling, ordering him to repay the state 28.9-million-rand spent on his corruption trial. According to News24, in his application, Zuma argues that ordering him to repay the state will result in severe injustice.
