Women lead climate action in Uganda

# The Africa Climate Change Fund, through the African Development Bank, is helping Ugandan women combat climate change and gender inequality. In Kotido, a pilot site for reforestation, women are being trained in tree planting, land access, and water conservation. Community leaders, civil society, and local officials are also involved. The project empowers women as environmental leaders, with tangible results such as tree nurseries and local climate action. Officials hope to replicate the model across Uganda.
