# Western Cape tourism generated nearly 26-billion-rand from international visitors in 2025, accounting for a quarter of South Africa’s total international tourism revenue. According to South African Tourism data, arrivals grew by 11.1-percent, while domestic travel also expanded strongly. Agriculture, Economic Development, and Tourism MEC Ivan Meyer says the sector is creating significant job opportunities across the province, supporting communities and small businesses:
