Western Cape premier pledges to accelerate investment after unemployment decline [SOUND]

# The Western Cape government says it will intensify efforts to attract investment and create more jobs, following a decline in the province’s unemployment rate to 19.5-percent between April and June. The province created 91-thousand jobs year-on-year, with strong growth in finance, trade and agriculture. The provincial government’s Regan Thaw says the focus remains on supporting businesses, expanding exports, improving skills and investing in infrastructure to sustain economic growth and job creation:
