# The Legal Practice Council says a warrant of arrest has been issued for disbarred advocate Malesela Teffo. This follows his surprise appearance at the High court in Johannesburg during the attempted murder trial of alleged kingpin Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala and four others. The council says Teffo remains struck from the roll and cannot practise law in South Africa as he has not applied for readmission. Gauteng director Ignatius Briel says they are working with police to execute the warrant.
