# Alleged crime kingpin Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala is expected to return to the Madlanga Commission today, as his legal team is set to submit a supplementary affidavit. When he appeared before the commission last week, he repeatedly refused to answer questions about the controversial 228-million-rand SAPS Medicare24 contract, citing his criminal case and his constitutional right against self-incrimination. Matlala also denied any connection with suspended Police minister Senzo Mchunu and deputy Crime Intelligence head Feroz Khan, while conceding to have met KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
