# The United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees is warning that the trickle of supplies being allowed into war-torn Gaza will not halt famine. It is estimated that 500-thousand people face starvation in the enclave. Israel has intensified its military operation in northern Gaza against Hamas, killing at least 50 people in air strikes in recent days. UNRWA’s, Juliette Touma, says just over 300 aid trucks have entered Gaza since last Monday, which is not enough:
