# The leaders of the UK, France, Germany and Italy have welcomed the agreement reached between the US and Iran, saying this is a moment of opportunity to restore regional stability and stabilise the global economy. The deal includes ending military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, lifting the US naval blockade within 30 days, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. In a joint statement, the group known as the E4 says they are prepared to lift sanctions on Iran in response to clear, verifiable steps on its nuclear programme.
