# The University of the Free State says academic activities will resume today following recent disruptions. The university’s executive committee and student bodies have agreed on how the new system will be implemented. The academic calendar has been adjusted to ensure completion of the 2025 academic year. Its QwaQwa campus, closed after protests over the phasing out of provisional registration, will also reopen on Wednesday with classes resuming on Thursday.
