# The City of Tshwane has launched an Urban20 Mayors’ Summit fundraising effort to partner with stakeholders and businesses, as the metro prepares to host this historic global event. Tshwane and the City of Johannesburg were awarded co-hosting rights for the 2025 U20 Mayors’ Summit, the first time the conference will be hosted on the African continent.
