# The City of Tshwane has approved a strategic precinct plan for the Tshwane Fresh Produce Market and surrounding neighbourhoods in Pretoria. The plan aims to revitalise the inner city, promote economic growth, and create over seven-thousand-200 housing opportunities. Mayoral committee member, Sarah Mabotsa says this move designates areas for developments, roads and open spaces. Mabotsa highlighted that the precinct will be pedestrian-friendly, well-connected to public transport, and attract investment while reducing traffic congestion and transport costs for residents.
