# The City of Tshwane has approved a public participation process for the draft Sokhulumi Precinct Plan, developed with the National Department of Land Reform and Rural Development. The plan proposes housing, agriculture, business development, and community facilities for the impoverished area near Bronkhorstspruit. The mayoral committee member for Economic Development and Spatial Planning, Sarah Mabotsa, says the plan will guide investment and growth as Sokhulumi remains one of Tshwane’s poorest regions:
