# US President Donald Trump has created a new task force to coordinate the government’s approach to artificial intelligence, which he calls “super intelligence”. The four-member leadership team will be headed by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton. The task force will examine the risks and opportunities presented by AI and recommend what role the federal government should play. It will also engage technology companies, public-interest groups and other organisations. The panel has 120 days to produce its report and will report directly to Trump and his chief of staff.
