# The trial of seven men accused of the murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane is set to begin in October at the High Court in Durban. The proceedings will run in two phases from 5 October to 6 November, and from 12 April to 14 May 2027. The State expects to call 45 witnesses. The accused face charges including two counts of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and firearm-related offences. Forbes and Motsoane were killed outside a Durban restaurant in February 2023.
