# The National House of Traditional and Khoi-San Leaders says it is continuing to engage government on the provision of appropriate protection services for traditional leaders, following recent shooting incidents involving senior traditional leadership figures. The incidents involved Free State Provincial House chairperson Morena Neo Mopeli and Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa president, Kgoshi Mathupa Mokoena. Spokesperson Khanya Makhanya says violence and intimidation against those entrusted with leading and serving communities are unacceptable and must be met with decisive action:
