# The father of the late rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, Tony Forbes, has criticised News24’s release of a teaser showing the final moments of Anele Tembe before her death in 2021. Tembe, AKA’s fiancée, died after falling from the tenth floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. Her death was ruled a suicide, a conclusion disputed by her family. Forbes challenged the footage’s release, saying he was tired of false narratives surrounding the tragedy and called for his son’s memory to be respected.
