He has approached the Constitutional Court to seek leave to appeal the High Court ruling, which dismissed his challenge on the alleged poor conditions of his imprisonment. Bester’s legal team says it would be a travesty of justice if a judgment on the conditions of his imprisonment was left unchallenged.
