He qualified for the tournament before beating local player Jack Kennedy in straight sets in the first round. Twenty-nine-year-old Harris’ best performance in the tournament was reaching the quarterfinal in 2021, whereafter his career was curtailed by various injuries. This caused Harris to tumble from 31st in the world in September 2021 to the current 139th.
