# Tennis: The sixth Czech women’s champion will be crowned at Wimbledon today when Karolina Muchová and Linda Nosková face off in the final on Centre Court. The most famous champion from their country before them was Martina Navratilova, who won the title nine times between 1978 and 1990, and is now an American citizen. After her, Jana Novotná wore the crown in 1998, Petra Kvitova won the 2011 and 2014 tournaments, Markéta Vondrousova was crowned champion in 2023, and Barbora Krejciková won the next year.
