Tennis: Sinner’s former physical trainer denies blame in player’s positive doping tests

# Tennis: World number one Jannik Sinner’s former physical trainer denies any blame in the Italian testing positive for a banned substance twice last year. Sinner sacked Umberto Ferrara as well as physiotherapist Giacomo Naldi since. Ferrara admits to using the spray containing clostebol that led to the positive test, but says he’d always made sure it didn’t come in contact with the athlete. He says he lent it to Naldi to treat a cut on his hand, but told him explicitly to be very careful with it.
