Alcaraz, who is seeded second this year, will face Roman Safiullin at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in the first round. The Russian is currently 135th in the world rankings after reaching his best position of 36th in January 2024. World number one and top-seeded Sabalenka will face Colombia’s world number 60, Camila Osorio, in the earlier match at the same court.
