# Ten people have died following a head-on collision between a minibus taxi and a bus on the R39 between Standerton and Morgenzon in Mpumalanga. The provincial Department of Community Safety says the crash happened this morning. Nine victims, including the taxi driver, died at the scene, while another died in hospital. Four others were seriously injured and admitted to Standerton Hospital. Authorities say the cause of the crash is under investigation, although reckless and negligent driving have not been ruled out.
